Describe in general terms something presenters need to improve upon. Do not discuss specific individuals for this option.
Public speaking is a very scary experience, and I’m sure that everybody that presented yesterday felt very nervous. I do understand how hard it can be to speak for big groups, but I also saw room for improvements. Such improvements would include more eye contact, more preparation, louder voice projection, and/or more energetic speech. Making eye contact in a group presentation makes a person appear more trustworthy, knowledgeable, and personable. Extra preparation and a louder voice projects confidence, and knowledge. Energetic speech encourages your audience to actually listen to what you’re saying.
Describe something a presenter/presenters did well and explain why you found it successful.
My favorite presentation was Victoria’s presentation on more inclusive sexual education. When one thinks of the conventions of a good presentation, they’ll think of everything Victoria did. For example, she spoke loud and energetic, was very passionate about her subject, included the audience in her presentation, and made lots of eye contact with the audience. The energetic speech was effective because it made me excited to listen. I could also tell that she was passionate about the subject which encouraged me to learn more about it.
