This portfolio was made as part of an ENC 2135 class at Florida State University. Through the course of this class, I have found myself to be a less abstract writer, and a more scientific writer. When I’m writing a paper, I usually get straight to the point and have trouble adding the “fluff” of a paper, and I always have trouble reaching my word count. I believe that I’m more of a scientific writer because, in scientific writings, the author usually gets straight to the point and ignores the more creative portions of a paper. I’ve learned so much through the process of making  these texts, I have learned a lot about myself, and learned a lot about genres.
